On October 31, 2009, at Hudson High School, the SEE Program presented its Fall 2009 Science & Technology Forum. Mr. Baiju R. Shah, the President, CEO and Founder of BioEnterprise, was the keynote speaker. Mr. Shah spoke about his life journey and many of the exciting bioscience developments that are occuring in Northeast Ohio. His inspiring talk helped open the students' eyes to the change that is to come, and the opportunity that it presents, and set the tone for the day. Preceding Mr. Shah, Dr. Julian Earls, retired head of NASA Glenn Research Center, and Mr. John Dowdell, Ashland University Gill Center Director, offered introductory remarks.

On February 21, 2009, at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, the SEE Program presented its Spring 2009 Science & Technology Forum. Dr. Luis Proenza, the President of the University of Akron and acclaimed science visionary and futurist, powerfully discussed the lifetime of change today’s students will experience in the future. Preceding Dr. Proenza, Dr. Julian Earls, retired head of NASA Glenn Research Center, offered introductory remarks.

Co-created by Karl Fisch, a teacher and Director of Technology at Araphahoe HS in Colorado, and Dr. Scott McLeod, Associate Professor in the Department of Education Leadership and Policy Students at Iowa State University. This presentation "went viral" on the Web in February 2007. Today the old and new verisions of the presentation have been seen by at least 20 million people, not including the countless others who have seen it in conferences, workshops, training institutes, and other venues.

Mr. Ken Vaughan, President of New Horizon Partners and Executive Director of the Nano-Network, was one of the distinguished speakers. Mr. Vaughan spoke about developments in the field of nanotechnology.

On October 31, 2009, at Hudson High School, the Scholarship of Entrepreneurial Engagement program of Ashland University presented its Fall 2009 Science & Technology Forum. Ms. Elizabeth Ann Sump of the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute and Executive Director of the Clinical Tissue Engineering Center, was one of the distinguished speakers. Ms. Sump also similarly spoke at the SEE Forum in February 2009 at Brecksville-Broadview Hts High School. Both of her talks were about developments in the regenerative medicine and stem cell fields. Due to an untimely death in her family, we will for now substitute Ms. Sump’s February 2009 video lecture which was very similar to the one give at Hudson HS.

On October 31, 2009, at Hudson High School, the Scholarship of Entrepreneurial Engagement program of Ashland, University presented its Fall 2009 Science & Technology Forum. Dr. Eddie D. Sloter, Senior Toxicologist in the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology department at WIL Research Laboratories, Ashland, Ohio, was one of the distinguished speakers. Dr. Sloter spoke about advancements in the field of developmental toxicology.

Lyons, Chief of the Power and In-Space Propulsion Division at the NASA Glenn Research Center, was one of the distinguished speakers. Dr. Lyons spoke about developments in the field of alternative energy.
