On October 31, 2009, at Hudson High School, the SEE Program presented its Fall 2009 Science & Technology Forum. Mr. Baiju R. Shah, the President, CEO and Founder of BioEnterprise, was the keynote speaker. Mr. Shah spoke about his life journey and many of the exciting bioscience developments that are occuring in Northeast Ohio. His inspiring talk helped open the students' eyes to the change that is to come, and the opportunity that it presents, and set the tone for the day. Preceding Mr. Shah, Dr. Julian Earls, retired head of NASA Glenn Research Center, and Mr. John Dowdell, Ashland University Gill Center Director, offered introductory remarks.

On October 31, 2009, at Hudson High School, the Scholarship of Entrepreneurial Engagement program of Ashland University presented its Fall 2009 Science & Technology Forum. Ms. Elizabeth Ann Sump of the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute and Executive Director of the Clinical Tissue Engineering Center, was one of the distinguished speakers. Ms. Sump also similarly spoke at the SEE Forum in February 2009 at Brecksville-Broadview Hts High School. Both of her talks were about developments in the regenerative medicine and stem cell fields. Due to an untimely death in her family, we will for now substitute Ms. Sump’s February 2009 video lecture which was very similar to the one give at Hudson HS.
